Let’s Think Deeply

Promoting exchange of inspiring, motivating, and empowering ideas.

Everything that you do, you do for a reason.  When was the last time that you thought about your reasons & whether what you are doing truly makes you happy?  Is your job satisfying your professional goals in life?  Are you choosing to enjoy every aspect of life with those you care about?  Are you experiencing love in your relationships with others, as a spouse, a parent, & a friend?  What other personal goals do you have & are you working on them?  When someone asks you, “What would you rather be doing right now?” is your answer that different from your current situation?

Whether or not we are comfortable with the decisions we make to fulfill the commitments that we have made to our boss, our spouse, our kids, our friends, our extended family, our neighbors & community, we still need to consider whether our choices make us happy.  What do you want to be when you grow up?  Where would you like to travel?  Who would you like to see?  What would you like to achieve?  What would you like to experience?  When you like to accomplish something?  What do you want to do?

Although some people will think about some of these areas of fulfillment, most of us will not think about all of these areas.  It is easier to maintain our own comfortability, than it is for us to change.  However, life was meant to provide us with the many opportunities to learn something new, to grow in a new way, to meet others who have similarities with & differences from us, and to explore areas we have not previously experienced.  Abraham Maslow said, “You will either step forward into growth, or you will step backward into safety.”  So, are you happy with everything you are doing right now or is there something more that would make a difference in your life?  If you haven’t thought about it, you should.  Your happiness is important to you & to others in your life.
